Construction of Bagan Datuk Police HQ to start soon

TELUK INTAN: The construction of the Bagan Datuk Police Headquarters on a six-hectare site will begin soon, said Perak police chief Datuk Hasnan Hassan.
He said the staffing of the police headquarters would also be expedited.
"For now, manpower at the Hutan Melintang and Bagan Datuk stations will be beefed up pending the completion of the Bagan Datuk Police Headquarters," he told reporters after witnessing the handing over of duties between outgoing Hilir Perak police chief ACP Wan Hassan Wan Ahmad and his successor ACP Mohd Marzukhi Mohd Mokhtar here today.
Mohd Marzukhi was Gombak deputy police chief while Wan Hassan has been promoted as principal assistant director of the Integrity and Standards Compliance Department at Bukit Aman.
Hasnan in his speech praised Wan Hassan for having done an excellent job for 14 months including reducing the crime rate in Hilir Perak by 14%. — Bernama
