Sunway University partners 40 Korean universities

PROF Graeme Wilkinson, vice-chancellor of Sunway University and Kwang Geun Lee, chairman of the Leading University for Start-up Business Association (Lusba) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently. The MoU between Sunway University and Lusba is to collaborate and exchange insights on the development of acceleration programmes and scientific research for the social and economic benefits of both Malaysia and South Korea.

Lusba, a consultative group of 40 universities is a non-profit organisation which supports and encourages students and entrepreneurs looking to start their own businesses through incubation and acceleration programmes. The MoU will pave the way for the participating universities to have a two-way flow of human resources, join research in areas of entrepreneurship, consult on the development of start-up eco system, build systems, and participate in seminars and academic meetings.

Also present were Sunway Education Group and Sunway University executive director Dr Elizabeth Lee, Sunway University deputy vice-chancellor Prof Pua Eng Chong and Lusba vice chairman Sooduck Chang.
