Police arrest three for robbing 7-Eleven store (Video)

PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested three male suspects for robbing a 7-Eleven store here recently.
Petaling Jaya police chief ACP Mohd Zani Che Din said police received a report on the robbery and made the arrests of the three suspects on Monday at PJS 2B/2 Taman Medan here.
Two of the men were 20 years old while the other was 21.
Zani said they would be investigated under Section 395 and 397 of the Penal Code for armed robbery.
They have been remanded for four days from July 18.
A video of the robbery that took place on July 13 at around 2am has been making its rounds on social media.
In the video, three men wearing helmets barged into the store, one man armed with a machete approached a staff of the store while the other two went to the counter and raided the place.
The 40-second video showed one of the men trying to open the cash register but it wouldn't budge while the other suspect had filled a bag with boxes of cigarettes.
With their loot in tow, the three ran out of the store.
