KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has to stop disturbing the government as his time is already over, says Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.
"Enough is enough. His time is already over. Why does he need to keep disturbing the government led by current prime minister Datuk Seri Najib? He (Najib) will administer the country his way," he said.
Tengku Adnan was referring to Dr Mahathir's recent invitation to Najib for a debate at the upcoming "Nothing to Hide 2.0" event, when met by reporters at the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) Aidilfitri open house in the federal capital today.
The "Nothing to Hide 2.0" event, organised by the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) Youth wing is scheduled to take place on Aug 13, at Dewan Raja Muda Musa in Shah Alam.
Earlier during the open house, Tengku Adnan presented "duit raya" to 3,000 children and homeless people. — Bernama
