KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan has submitted its constitution to the Registrar of Societies (RoS) to officially register the opposition coalition.
Its Chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (pix) said the constitution was sent online to the RoS this morning.
"We (Pakatan Harapan) have agreed to the constitution's draft and we have submitted it to the RoS online, and we will set a date to submit the written draft soon.
"We hope there will be no problem, but if there's amendments to be made, then we are ready," Mahathir said during a press conference after he chaired the coalition's presidential meeting held at the parliament's opposition office here.
The Pakatan Harapan constitution aims to provide equality to all the parties in the alliance.
The constitution will also focus on the decision-making process within the coalition.
Mahathir said the constitution will also include the "term-limit" of its leaders.
Meanwhile, Mahathir said the opposition will organise a "Sayangi Malaysia, Hapus Kleptokrasi" (Love Malaysia, End Kleptocracy) rally on October 14.
The rally will be held at Padand Timur, Petaling Jaya.
