Woman killed in car crash

MIRI: A woman was killed when she lost control of her car, causing the vehicle skid and crashed into a tree at Jalan Miri-Pujut today.
Miri Fire and Rescue station chief Law Poh Kiong said the victim, Shirlime Raga, 26, was at the wheel of a Perodua Viva and driving from Pujut when the crash occurred.
A medical team from Miri Hospital confirmed her death and the body was sent to the hospital for further action, he said.
He said the station received a call on the crash at 4.36am and arrived at the scene at 4.41am. — Bernama
