As Crizal celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, it rolled out “Prevencia”, the company’s latest innovative product under its range of Crizal anti-reflection lenses made for all ages.
With the development of technology, mobile devices are now an important part of daily lives, exposing eyes to increased amounts of blue light.
Hence, Crizal Prevencia was developed specifically to help reduce the damaging and cumulative effects of harmful exposure to UV light.
Unlike other lenses, Crizal Prevencia lenses use E-SPF and Lightscan Technology to selectively filter out harmful UV light with various anti-reflective coatings on both sides of the lens, yet allowing good light to permeate without distorting true colours.
For complete protection and better vision, the lenses are fitted with anti-reflective and smudge, water, dust and scratch resistant features.
CRIZAL DRIVE
Made especially for drivers is Essilor’s Crizal Drive range of lenses, which enhances visual comfort for superior day vision and improves night vision for smoother, safer driving. While normal lenses create disturbing halos from reflecting lights at night, Crizal Drive lenses minimise the reflection of light at up to 90% in low light conditions. These lenses come complete with signature Crizal features that include anti-reflection, scratch and smudge resistant, repels dust and water, and providing optimal UV protection.
TRANSITIONS SIGNATURE
Recently, four new colours have been added to the Transitions Signature adaptive lens range. Spectacle-users can express their own personal styles and preferences with emerald, amethyst, amber or sapphire-coloured lenses, in addition to the existing grey, brown and graphite green colours.
More than just looking stylish, Transitions Signature lenses are powered by the new Chromea7 Technology, a new molecular breakthrough that utilises an exclusive eight-dye formulation that allows the lenses to become more responsive in greater lighting conditions across temperatures.
