Car rams into glass door at shopping mall

JOHOR BARU: A car rammed into a glass door at a shopping mall here, injuring five people who were queuing at the parking ticket paying machine on the ground floor.
Two victims were sent to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital for treatment in the 12.30am incident at the Aeon Mall in Bukit Indah today.
Three others who sustained minor injuries, went to the same hospital for treatment on their own.
Based on initial investigations, the 25-year-old male driver who works as a salesman, had attempted to park his car, but lost control and rammed through the glass sliding door.
DSP Kumaresan Muniandy, Deputy chief of the Iskandar Putri police district, said all the victims suffered minor injuries.
The case is being investigated under Section 43 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death and injury by reckless and dangerous driving.
