School urged to lodge police report over student oral sex allegation

KEDAH Chinese school inspector Loh Eng Chong urged the school where two students allegedly engaged in oral sex to lodge a police report to protect its image.
He said following news of the incident, some netizens have drawn the ire of the school authority concerned for blowing it out of proportion, China Press reported today.
It has been reported that in the incident earlier this month, a form two male student was said to have been caught having oral sex with a female student in a science laboratory.
The "incident" went viral after news of it was posted on a university social media group.
"Some senior staff of the school called to express concern that the school's image might be tarnished by (what was posted in social media).
"I encouraged them to lodge a report with the police," Loh said.
He declined to comment when asked to confirm the incident, saying the state education department was investigating the matter.
He did not give a direct answer when asked if it was true that a directive to transfer the school's headmaster was rescinded shortly after it was sent, out but said a politician had played a hand behind the scene.
He disclosed that he had received letters questioning the capability of the school headmaster and demanding the latter's removal.
In an unrelated incident, Dong Zong (United Chinese School Teachers Association) president Ong Kow Yee urged the authorities concerned to ensure that the temporary teacher caught sexually abusing a year three pupil in a school toilet is banned from the teaching fraternity.
The abuse, which might have occurred over a period of more than two years in a top Chinese school in Selangor, only came to light last week.
The teacher has since been dismissed.
