Invoke volunteer charged with stealing company letters

JOHOR BARU: A volunteer at Invoke Malaysia pleaded not guilty to stealing several company letters at the magistrate's court today.
Gerald Tang Mun Hon, 40, is alleged to have stolen several letters from Alliance Map (M) Sdn Bhd at 12.30pm, May 29, 2017.
The letters were owned by Stephen Goh Lai Heng of No. 42, Jalan Molek 2/3, Taman Molek.
He was charged under Section 379 of the Penal Code, which carries a penalty of up to seven years jail or fine or both.
Magistrate Mohd Azlan Shah Mohd Alias set bail at RM3,000 with one surety, and fixed Aug 24 for mention.
Gerald Tang, a businessman, was represented by Jimmy Puah Wee Tse and Mohammad Isa Mohammad Basir.
DPP Muhammad Mohd Nasir prosecuted.
