Kronologi shares up 4.22% on stellar results

PETALING JAYA: Kronologi Bhd Asia’s shares rose 4.22% to 74 sen this morning following reports of its second quarter net profit more than doubling to RM4.08 million.
At 10.51am, its shares rose 3 sen to 74 sen on 16.53 million shares traded, making it one of the top active counters this morning. Its shares closed at 71 sen last Friday.
For the second quarter ended June 30, 2017, the company reported a net profit of RM4.08 million compared with RM1.7 million a year ago, underpinned by higher sales from its enterprise data management infrastructure technology segment.
It said that demand for data backup is being driven by the proliferation of data such as emails, staff and business records, legal documents and more.
