Namawee releases feel-good Merdeka music video

    PETALING JAYA: Controversial rapper Namewee has released a feel-good music video to mark the 60th Merdeka Day.
    Enitled Ali AhKao dan Muthu, the song which also features Datuk David Arumugam and young artist Aniq.
    The song by Namawee, whose real name is Wee Meng Chee, reflects on unity among the various races in the country. It calls on Malaysians to put aside any race and religious prejudices.
    The six-minute video shows the three performers growing as good friends and it contains footages of historical moments such as Tunku Abdul Rahman's Merdeka proclamation, the production of Proton Saga, Malaysia's Thomas Cup triumph, the construction of the KL Tower and KLCC in the 90's among others.
    The song which reflects about unity among race and calls on Malaysians to be united without any racial or religious prejudices.The video which was released on July 29. It has already has 418,253 views up to date.
