Residensi RAH set to become Kg Baru's newest landmark

KUALA LUMPUR: Residensi RAH, a new RM120 million condominium project in Kampung Baru, is set to become a new landmark in the historic traditional enclave within the capital.
The 39-storey modern development which sits in Kuala Lumpur's golden triangle is expected to attract those of middle-upper to upper class income earners to grab the 187 units offered.
The luxurious condominium, upon its completion in 2019, would offer seven different types of design, including penthouse units, with floor area ranging from 1,151ft² to 5,144ft².
RAH Properties Corporation chairman Datuk Abd Rahim Ibrahim said he was proud to see that the new building would assist in developing Kampung Baru, which had long been isolated by developments in its neighbouring areas.
Abd Rahim, who is a native of Kampung Baru, thanked the government for giving its support and cooperation in realising efforts to modernise the area.
"This shows the government's commitment to bring development to the area," he said in his speech at the launching of the project in Kampung Baru.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi launched the project.
Also present were Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor and Second Finance Minister cum Titiwangsa MP Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani.
Ahmad Zahid in his speech, stressed that Kampung Baru would be left out if it failed to follow the course of modernisation.
"We hope the residents of Kampung Baru or outsiders could give their support ... so that this area can be on par and in parallel with developments in the surrounding areas," he added.
Units offered are priced between RM622,461 to RM3.5million, with one of its main attractions being the private swimming pool installed in its penthouse units.
Built on a 3,310m² piece of land, Residensi RAH is located within the vicinity of KL's densest area and is well connected to major roads, such as Jalan Sultan Ismail and the Ampang – KL Elevated Highway.
Daily life will become easier as the builing is located within close proximity of various amenities and public services, including universities and hospitals.
Connections to public transport such as the LRT and Monorail are just a stone's throw away, making city life less hectic.
Among its security features are the automatic main entrance gate, 24-hour security, CCTV surveillance system and access card.
