Man senses trouble, evades robbers (Video)

KLANG: A quick-thinking man escaped harm when he dashed into his house and set loose his guard dog on five armed robbers at Bukit Bayu Tinggi here late on Saturday.
The victim was removing things from his car which was parked outside his house when a passing multi-purpose vehicle pulled over at about 10.30pm.
Five masked robbers armed with long machetes stepped out of the vehicle but the victim who had sensed trouble earlier ran into his house.
Klang South police chief ACP Shamsul Amar Ramli said today the victim left the main gate ajar to allow his guard dog to drive away the robbers who quickly fled the scene.
He said the victim was unharmed and did not suffer any losses.
Shamsul said investigators managed to trace a suspect of the case and arrested the man in a raid at a house in Taman Sentosa here today.
He said checks showed the 30-year-old suspect who tested positive for drug abuse had 27 previous criminal records. He is under a six-day remand order for investigations and the hunt for his accomplices are ongoing.
Two video clips of the incident captured by a close-circuit security cameras at the township went viral in the social media a day after the incident.
