Sony combines technology with lifestyle

SONY Malaysia is currently having a roadshow in Mid Valley MegaMall's Centre Court (until Aug 13) to showcase their latest electronic products that not only attest to their commitment to the latest in technology but also how it fits into our living spaces.
Among the new products on display are the recently unveiled Bravia A1 HDR OLED TV along with numerous home entertainment products that are aimed at fulfilling an ideal interior space ecosystem.
The Bravia TV line-up has been on the forefront of TV innovation, that combined not only great picture quality but great sound as well.
There is also the aesthetically pleasing X93E series of TV sets that comes with stunning 4K HDR visuals, amazing sound and a striking geometric patterns back panel that will look good in any living space.
Sony is pushing beyond the traditional realms of interior designing and is showcasing the Slice Of Living concept at this roadshow.
You will see mock living rooms that utilises minimalist designs that accentuate the many Sony products such as their TV sets and sound systems which fit in nicely into the modern home decor.
Check out the new HT-MT500/MT300 Sound Bar that not only dazzles with high-spec sound but looks good on any mantle with its synthetic leather cover that comes in warm colours.
Sony Malaysia has also unveiled its new flagship HT-ST5000 Sound Bar that incorporates Dolby Atmos technology, that produces surround sound with a seven-speaker array on the front and enabled speakers on the top of each side. So you get cinematic sound quality from the comfort of your own home.
Sony's wide range of cameras, mobile devices and other home entertainment products that will also be on display. For a bit of nostalgia, their vinyl record player is part of their Slice Of Living furnishing.
"Usually we only show products but this time we are showing products are lifestyle, " said Saforu Arai, the general manager of Sony Malaysia. He said the aim was to show how Sony's range of products can be used for each occasion.
He was joined at the launch by other Sony Malaysia representatives – Hideyuki Wada, the general manager of marketing, Chiw Yew Ming the general manager of sales and Lee Tack Choi the head of TV and Home Entertainment.
