PUTRAJAYA: Three board directors of the Felda Investment Corporation (FIC) were called up again by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today for questioning over an ongoing probe on the overpriced purchase of a hotel in London.
Sources said all three directors had gone to the MACC headquarters here at 11am where their statements were recorded and were allowed to leave at 6.30pm.
It was the second time they had been summoned.
The MACC has to date called up 29 witnesses for questioning over the case.
Five people including a former chief executive officer of FIC and those involved in inking the purchase of the hotel in Kensington were detained.
MACC director of investigations confirmed the trio were called up again to have their statements recorded to complete investigations.
He did not discount the possibilities of them being summoned again to assist in the probe.
The FIC came under the radar of the MACC after suffering losses of over RM100 million following the purchase of two hotels in Kuching and London.
