Suria Capital shares up 0.46% after confirming talks with MMC Corp on Sabah Port

    PETALING JAYA: Shares of Suria Capital Holdings Bhd rose 0.46% this morning, after the company confirmed that it is in talks with MMC Corp Bhd for a potential sale of stake in Sabah Ports Sdn Bhd.
    At 10.58am, its share price rose 1 sen to RM2.17 with a total of 48,800 shares traded. Meanwhile, MMC Corp’s share price fell 4 sen or 1.67% to RM2.36 with a total of 13,100 shares traded.
    Yesterday, both companies announced that they were in talks on MMC Corp’s proposed acquisition of a stake in Suria Capital’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Sabah Ports.
    Both MMC Corp and Suria Capital have yet to make any firm decision on the proposed transaction.
