GEORGE TOWN: Those looking for a business focused social club need look no further with the opening of The Tower Club Penang.
Members can enjoy making deals amid a panoramic view of George Town as the club encompasses the 59th, 60th, 66th and 67th floor of Komtar, the tallest building in Penang.
Only World Group (OWG) CEO Datuk Sri Richard Koh said the inspiration behind the club was to provide a business plus social space.
He said there were many sports, recreation and social-focused clubs but none like what The Tower Club Penang was offering.
"We saw the opportunity to build a business focused cum social club here in Penang," he said today when launching the membership drive with Penang Tourism Development Committee chairman Danny Law.
Those interested to become members can have their pick of three tiers where a one-time joining fee provides a 30-year membership experience.
Membership classes are categorised for an individual for RM15,000, ordinary for RM18,000 and corporate for RM25,000 and the club is targeting 5,000 sign-ups over the next six weeks.
Facility consultant Ricky Goh (pix) said members can enjoy a wide range of facilities spread over some 3,700m² of space.
He said the club offers the highest sky gym and spa experience in the state as it is located within the Komtar building.
He said other facilities include a tea lounge, wine cellars, business suites, card rooms, a library, karaoke suites and a dining deck.
"This is a suitable place for people to come to relax to complement their healthy lifestyle," he added.
