Pos Malaysia's share price up on news of RM141m vessels acquisition

    PETALING JAYA: Pos Malaysia Bhd's share price rose 0.19% this morning after the company announced the acquisition of two bulk carrier vessels for US$32.9 million (RM141 million).
    At 10.50am, the stock rose 1 sen to RM5.18 with a total of 23,600 shares traded. Last Friday, the stock fell 2 sen to RM5.17 with 195,200 shares traded.
    Pos Malaysia's wholly-owned subsidiary PNSL Bhd has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Ratu Shipping Co SA for the acquisition of a unit of second-hand Kamsarmax bulk carrier vessel namely Golden Trader I.
    PNSL has also signed another MoA with Trans Nanjing Shipping Ltd for the acquisition of another unit of second-hand Post-Panamax bulk carrier vessel namely Trans Nanjing.
