Foul play at chicken slaughterhouse

KLANG: A security guard was charged with the murder of his co-workers at a chicken slaughterhouse at the magistrate court here today.
Mohd Ferdaus Suwardi, 30, was charged with the murder of two brothers - Syed Mohd Fazrul Syed Mohd Ridhuan, 23, and Wan Amir Abu Hassan, 48, at the slaughterhouse in Kampung Kuantan last month.
Their bodies were found covered in blood with slashes all over their bodies on Aug 3, three days after they died.
The bodies were discovered in a room which was locked from the outside.
The disappearance of the brothers was only noticed when an elderly lady that stayed in the next room complained to the owner of the slaughterhouse about a foul stench emitting from the locked room.
The next day Mohd Ferdaus was arrested at Hospital Teluk Intan where he was hospitalised with a drug overdose.
No plea was recorded from the suspect who was unrepresented.
