(Video) Stunning double gold by Sultan Mizan

SETIU: The Sultan of Terengganu pulled off a royal feat by landing two gold medals in the equestrian competition at the SEA Games here in his home state.
Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin’s double gold feat came from the individual endurance event and the team endurance event. The team gold was won with Mohd Faris Syafiq and Mohammad Fuad Hashim.
A total of 25 riders took part in the endurance event which was flagged off at 3am at the International Endurance Park here today.
Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin led the Malaysian team which had five other riders. Other teams in the fray were Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia and Brunei. The participants ride 80km.
Raja Muda of Terengganu, Tengku Muhammad Ismail Sultan Mizan flagged off the riders.
Meanwhile, Malaysia scored a one-two finish when wushu exponent Yeap Wai Kin stunned his teammate Wong Weng Son to bag the men's jianshu gold medal at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre today.
Yeap scored 9.67 points to pip favourite Wong to claim the first gold of the wushu competition. Wong, the world cup winner in this event, scored 9.65 points.
Singapore's Jin Jie Fung got the bronze with 9.48 points.
