KUALA LUMPUR: Grab, a well-known e-hailing provider company expands its GrabRewards programme by drawing more than 150 merchants into its ecosystem of reward partners.
Head of GrabPay, Jason Thompson said with the new expanded GrabRewards programme, the company had created an ecosystem in which its customers would stay loyal because "a ringgit spent with Grab is more valuable than a ringgit spend elsewhere".
"At Grab, we want to create value with every ride – beyond providing safe and affordable transport, the points that passengers earn from their rides give them access to a wide range of popular and well-loved retail and lifestyle products.
"In fact, users in Malaysia can earn up 10x GrabRewards points when they pay for their rides with GrabPay," he said in a statement here today.
The new and improved GrabRewards currently features food and beverage, hospitality, lifestyle, retail brands, travel and service-related rewards, such as a cup of power juice from Juice Works for 1,200 points, one personal Domino's pizza for 1,400 points, RM5 Watson cash voucher for 725 points; RM50 off hotel bookings via AirAsiaGo for 1,500 points and one set of Shiseido Waso travel kit for 3,300 points.
