Man who abducted nine-year-old girl believed to be a sex maniac

PORT DICKSON: A 21-year-old student of a higher education institution, who abducted a nine-year-old girl from her house here on Aug 14, is believed to be a sex maniac.
Port Dickson district police chief Supt Zainudin Ahmad said the suspect had a day earlier attempted to abduct a 17-year-old girl from the dormitory of a religious school in Teluk Kemang.
Zainudin said the suspect then broke into the child's home at 4am the following day, where she was abducted and kept at his home in Bandar Springhill for about 16 hours, with both her hands and legs tied to a chair.
"The victim was threatened that she would be killed if she attempted to run away. Medical examination also found injuries on her private part, besides bruises on her arms and legs," he told a press conference today.
Zainudin said the suspect would be charged at the Seremban Session Court today with six counts under Section 4(a) and Section 4(b) of the Children's Sexual Abuse Act 2017, and one count each under Section 363 of the Penal Code and Section 29 (1) of the Minor Offences Act 1955.
In the Aug 14 incident, the child was only found missing by her father when he went to wake her up for school.
