MIC submits list of GE14 candidates to BN chairman

SEREMBAN: MIC has submitted the list of its candidates to be fielded at the 14th general election (GE14) to Prime Minister and Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak.
In fact, MIC president, Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam, said the party had listed at least four candidates for each seat it would contest at the GE14.
"We have submitted the list to the prime minister and from there, we will scrutinise their performance and contributions, as well as the grass root support for them.
"Once this process is complete, we will see who has the best chance to win and this will be finalise upon discussion with Najib," he told Bernama at the Negri Sembilan MIC Annual Convention here.
Also present were MIC Information chief Datuk V. S. Mogan and State MIC chairman Datuk L. Manickam.
Approximately 400 MIC delegates attended the convention. — Bernama
