Cyclist prepared to climb tree to give support to team mate

NILAI: World Keirin champion Azizulhasni Awang was prepared to climb a tree to give his strong support to two women riders, Ju Pha Som Net and Nurul Shuhada Zainal who were competing in the Women’s Individual Mass Start event at the Dataran Nilai here.
The antics of the “pocket rocketman” drew the attention of the spectators who had come to give their support to the national squad, to the extent that some of them took the opportunity to photograph Azizul standing on the tree.
Also recording the action were team mates such as Fatehah Mustapa and a gold medal contributor in the Men’s Team Time Trial Muhammad Ammer Ahmad Kamal.
