KUALA LUMPUR: The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) deems the demise of Puan Sri Lee Kim Hua, widow of the late Genting Group founder, Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, as a loss to the Group and her family.
President, Datuk Ter Leong Yap said Lee was a pillar of strength to the group and successfully brought up and educated the next generation to sustain and expand the multi-billion ringgit business empire built up by the late Lim in 1965.
"Under the leadership of Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, Lee's second son, Genting Group has been doing very well both at home and abroad," he told Bernama today.
Lee, 88, was among the richest women in Malaysia upon inheriting more than RM21 billion from her late husband, she leaves behind three sons and three daughters. — Bernama
