Motorcyclist killed in crash involving eight motorcycles, two cars

BUTTERWORTH: A motorcyclist was killed when his machine collided with eight other motorcyclists and run over by two cars at the Butterworth Outer Ring Road near Bagan Ajam here early today.
Muhammad Akmal Firdaus Kyairil Wazir, 20, who sustained head injuries died on the spot.
A 16-year-old boy and his pillion rider, also 16, who were on one of the eight motorcycles sustained serious head and body injuries in the 2.30am crash.
A police spokesman said the body was sent to the Seberang Jaya Hospital.
He said the injured were warded at the same hospital. — Bernama
