Azizulhasni makes Terengganu proud with Malaysia's 111th gold: MB

KUALA TERENGGANU: The success of national cyclist Azizulhasni Awang in securing the 111th gold medal for the national contingent in the men's individual sprint last night is a major recognition for Terengganu.
Earlier national women racer, Fatehah Mustapha who is also from Terengganu claimed the 110th gold medal in the women's individual sprint.
Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman said the success of Azizulhasni, a Terengganu-born once again testified the domination of Terengganu as a power in sports as well as education.
"Thankfully our country Malaysia has succeeded in achieving 111 gold medals in the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games.
"We are very gratified that the 111th gold medal was contributed by Terengganu-born, Azizulhasni Awang in the men's individual sprint.
Despite suffering a fall in the semi-finals, he picked himself up to win the race," he said. — Bernama
