TRC Synergy bags LRT3 contract

PETALING JAYA: TRC Synergy Bhd has been awarded a RM760.55 million contract for the construction of a depot and associated works for Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT3) by Prasarana Malaysia Bhd.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the company said its wholly owned subsidiary Trans Resources Corp Sdn Bhd had, on Aug 29, 2017, accepted the award from Prasarana.
The contract, known as Package TD2, is for the construction and completion of Johan Setia Depot (Phase 2) and associated works for construction and completion of LRT3 from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia.
TRC shares rose half a sen to close at 83 sen on some 12.25 million shares done.
