Bank Negara's international reserves higher at RM431.7 billion as at Aug 30

KUALA LUMPUR: The international reserves of Bank Negara Malaysia amounted to US$100.5 billion (RM431.7 billion) as at Aug 30, 2017, slightly higher than the US$100.4 billion (RM431.0 billion) recorded as at August 15, 2017.
"The reserves position is sufficient to finance 7.8 months of retained imports and is 1.1 times the short-term external debt," the central bank said in a statement.
