Clinic ceiling collapses

JOHOR BARU: Part of the ceiling at the Mahmoodiah Health Clinic in Jalan Mahmoodiah near here collapsed today, but no one was injured.
Johor Health, Environment, Education and Information Committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat said the incident occurred at 8.30 pm at the Food Counselling Counter at the clinic and not at the main building of the Sultanah Aminah Hospital as was viralled in Whatsapp and Facebook.
There was no staff or visitor at the location when it happened, he said in a statement here today.
He said investigation would be conducted to be determine the cause and that repair work was being carried out. — Bernama
