KUALA LUMPUR: Police are searching for three suspects who robbed customers and made off with RM15,000 in valuables at a laundromat in Taman Gombak here recently.
Footage of the robbery has made its rounds on social media where two men wearing motorcycle helmets are seen entering the premises as a few customers wait for their laundry to be done.
While one man is seen entering to secure the area, his partner is seen approaching a woman sitting on a bench and demands with a machete that she gives up her valuables.
The man then proceeds to grab her handbag and drags her to a corner of the shop, forcing her to give up the jewelry shes wearing. All the while, customers in the shop go about their business as if nothing is happening.
