(Video) Woman gives birth on street, then walks home with newborn and groceries

A WOMAN gave birth on the street Guandong city of Yunfu last weekend while she was on a grocery shopping trip.
A video of the woman in her 30s giving birth standing up after unexpectedly going into labour has gone viral in China.
She yelled after her water broke. A few seconds later, the newborn slipped from between her legs onto the ground.
Onlookers went to her aid. They put a sheet of cardboard on the road and gave her a chair to sit.
An ambulance arrived at the scene and a medical worker cut the umbilical cord. The infant was placed on the chair and cleaned while the mother remained standing.
She then walked home in her bloodstained dress with a bag of groceries in one hand and her newborn on the other.
