Ahmad Zaki Resources awarded RM221.9m contract

PETALING JAYA: Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB) has been awarded a contract worth RM221.9 million by BBCC Development Sdn Bhd.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, AZRB said its wholly owned subsidiary Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd received the letter of award for Substructure Package B2 (Parcel 4 and 5), with works comprising earthworks, piling, diaphragm wall, RC works, the main intake substations and main division substation works.
The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s future earnings.
The stock rose four sen to close at RM1.17 yesterday on some 1.65 million shares done.
