Gerakan looking to swap four to five seats with BN component parties

IPOH: Gerakan is looking at swapping four to five seats with its component partners for the next general election said Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong.
The Gerakan president said the party felt that some seats best be contested by its fellow party candidates as the party had better traction in the area.
"We feel the party is strong in certain constituencies and weak in other seats ... swapping will give BN the best results," he added.
Mah said the party contested in 12 parliament and 33 state seats in the last election.
In the 2013 general elections Gerakan won one parliament and three state seats.
The party won another parliament seat in Teluk Intan through a by-election through Mah.
