    PERODUA presented a brand-new Perodua Axia G worth RM37,000 to Mohd Saipol Kamal Nor Izam Mohd Saad, 33, today. The Ipoh resident was named the Grand Prize winner of the Perodua “Service and Win” contest, which was held between April and June this year in collaboration with Petronas Lubricants Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
    Petronas Lubricants is the official vehicle lubricant supplier for Perodua’s aftersales business. The Axia presented to Mohd Saipol is in "Glittering Silver" with the Petronas green stylishly decorating adorning it.
    “This contest saw 37,600 participants with a total 1.26 million litres of lubricants sold within the three-month contest time period,” Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd managing director, Datuk Dr Zahari Husin said.
    The contest required Perodua owners to service their Perodua vehicles at any Perodua service centres nationwide, with a minimum spending of RM300, answer a simple question and submit the answer via SMS. Mohd Saipol serviced his Alza. A total of 90 prizes were given to winners of the competition. The winners were selected randomly via a software programme to ensure that no favourites existed. The Grand prize Axia is a perfect addition to the household!
    “That being said, I wish to thank our customers for choosing Perodua for your vehicle serving needs. In fact, between January and August this year a total of 1.39 million intakes registered within our service outlets throughout the country,” Zahari said during a prize presentation to Mohd Saipol and 19 other winners today. The latter won the first (nine winners), second (five winners) and third prizes (five winners) consisting of Samsung 55-inch Curve UHD LED TV, travel voucher worth RM3,000 and Huawei P9 Smartphone, respectively, each.
    In May last year, Perodua and Petronas Lubricants Marketing Malaysia, a subsidiary of Petronas Dagangan Sdn Bhd, signed an agreement whereby Petronas Lubricants would be the sole supplier of Perodua’s aftersales vehicle lubricants.
    Further adding to that partnership was Perodua and Petronas then created a contest to promote both the car company’s service centres’ capabilities as well as Petronas Lubricants’ products.

Or we welcome you to walk into any of our sales or service outlets to learn more about what we have to offer,” Dr Zahari said.
