Sino Hua-An most active stock today

PETALING JAYA: Sino Hua-An International Bhd was the most active stock traded on the local bourse as at 3.05pm today, after posting profits for the first six months of the year.
Its share price rose 8.51% to 25.5 sen, with 134 million shares changing hands.
Sino Hua-An is a China-based company involved in the production and sale of metallurgical coke and by-products. It has a market capitalisation of RM269 million.
For the second quarter ended June 30, 2017, Sino Hua-An posted a net profit of RM21.99 million compared with a net loss of RM9.62 million a year ago with the resumption of coke manufacturing operations following the expiry of the leasing tenure.
For the six months period, it also saw a net profit of RM20.097 million compared with a net loss of RM23.25 million in the previous year’s corresponding period.
