Water disruption in Kuantan on Wednesday

KUANTAN: Come Wednesday, several areas here will face water disruption, following pipeline maintenance works at the Soi water tank in Jalan Kuantan-Pekan.
Pengurusan Air Pahang Berhad (PAIP) in a media statement here today, said the maintenance works would begin at 9am, and were expected to be completed by 9pm the same day.
"About 40,000 accounts are expected to be affected by the maintenance works. Consequently, consumers are advised to store sufficient water supply," it said.
The affected areas are the Indera Sempurna area; Jalan Kuantan-Pekan from the Penor Prison; Sultanah Hajah Kalsom Children's Home; Kampung Sri Melati; Kampung Batu Putih; Kampung Semangat; Ubai; Cherok Paloh; Kampung Hijrah and Pantai Sepat.
Also expected to be hit are Kampung Chempaka; Berjaya Permai including the Tanjung Lumpur bypass; Kampung Soi; Kampung Pahang; the entire Kempadang area; Pak Mahat; Tanjung Lumpur; Peramu and KPJ Specialist Centre as well as surrounding areas.
