The all-new beauty hall

After months of refurbishing, Sogo Kuala Lumpur has officially unveiled its refashioned beauty floor on Sept 7.
"We've been (renovating) for the last seven years. As we began with our top floors and worked downwards, the completed 'beauty floor' marks the end of the renewal process for the whole building", explains Datuk Andrew Lim, the managing director of Sogo Kuala Lumpur.
Officiated with the "The All-New Beauty Hall Refashioned ... because of you" tagline, the beauty hall is now more fabulous and chic, utilising the angular placement of stores and "booths" in a brightly lit expansive area of the department store's lower ground floor level.
Comparing Sogo to hotels, Datuk Andrew Lim says, "I think it's important that department stores remain in style by being new and in-connection with the current times. Can't keep it old and neglected; it needs to be continuously renewed".
Walking through the new beauty hall makes it clear that Lim's words ring evidently true; the new look and concept behind Sogo's beauty hall is a depiction of today's women – bold, confident and know what they want.
A step into the all-new beauty hall takes patrons to a completely new level, now with the addition of new in-demand brands. For beauty and personal care, there is Glo Laser Centre, Innisfree, Kiehl's, L'Occitane, NYX Professional Makeup, Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works; and Coach, Charles & Keith, Belle, Radley and Love Moschino for handbags, shoes and accessories suitable for work and play.
Notable brands such as The Body Shop, Crabtree & Evelyn, Carlo Rino, Chanel, MAC Cosmetics and Bonia were also completely remodelled to provide an enhanced and welcoming ambiance.
