'Kidnapped' foreigner rescued from ledge of shophouse

SHAH ALAM: Fire and Rescue Department personnel rescued a foreigner, believed to be a kidnap victim, from the ledge of a shophouse here today.
A spokesperson from the department said the man was believed to have had his car stolen and handcuffed when he was left on the ledge of the building's first floor in TTDI Jaya in the 7am incident.
"The firemen reached the scene 15 minutes upon receiving information about the incident and they used used a ladder to bring him down," he said.
Shah Alam deputy district police chief Supt Nek Zaidi Zakaria confirmed the case and police are in the midst of investigating the case.
