‘Mane’ attraction

WATSONS Malaysia held its biggest hair fair recently. Simply called the “Watsons Hair Temptations Fair”, the six-day event, which ended on Sept 3, was held at the 1 Utama Shopping Centre. More than just providing shoppers with a wide range of hair care products, the fair also roped in industry professionals to share tips and tricks on hair care, treatments and styling.

The fair welcomed shoppers to an atmosphere that resembled a lively theme park scenario. Mini games such as “Throw and Win” and “Hole in One” kept the younger set and young-at-heart entertained. Shoppers who presented their Watsons VIP card were able to redeem free popcorn and balloon sculptures. Hair care brand Bad Lab was on site to offer free express haircuts with any purchase of their products.

The Watsons Hair Temptations Fair was officially launched by Watsons Malaysia general manager and country head Caryn Loh. The entire event was made possible due to the collaboration between A Cut Above hair salon, fashion apparel brands Old Navy, Yolo gentleman and d.d collective with the support of Amber Chia Academy, and of course, Watsons Malaysia.

“We often view our hair as a reflection of our identity because it is both personal and public. Many women feel that a bad hair day equates to a bad day. The key tip is to practise good hair care habits to have perfect hair,” said Loh in her opening speech.

“Every woman can have strong, shiny and healthy hair if they use the right products and practise a proper hair care routine. At Watsons, we always want to offer the best beauty care products from head to toe, which is why we partner with only the best brands in helping each of our valued customers ‘Look Good, Feel Good’, which is our motto,” Loh added.

While the “mane” event came and went in the blink of an eye, as did the recent weekend holiday, Watsons Malaysia VIP members can enjoy more offers and savings with the ongoing “Watsons Syok Sale” happening in-store and online until Oct 2 .
