DPM visits school in Sibu

SIBU: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi began his second-day working visit to Sarawak by visiting Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Rosli Dhoby here.
He arrived at the school about 9.45am, accompanied by Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid and Sarawak Education Minister Datuk Seri Michael Manyin Jawong.
Ahmad Zahid arrived her yesterday and last night, chaired a coordination meeting on the reconstruction of dilapidated schools in Sarawak.
The meeting was also attended by Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg and his deputy, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan, Sarawak International Trade and E-Commerce Minister Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh and other state cabinet members.
The deputy prime minister is scheduled to return to Kuala Lumpur this afternoon. — Bernama
