WHILE the pastel hues of previous seasons brought a fresh, breezy feel to interiors, the nascent trend for darker, richer shades is set to bring a cosier and more luxurious feel to homes.
Here's a look at some of the on-trend creations spotted at the recent Maison & Objet interior design and decoration trade show in Paris, France.
Green screen
This season, Danish design brand Ferm Living has a stylish room divider in a dark green shade with a glossy finish.
The Alfred Collection
For the first time, Belgian design label Valery Objects has joined forces with The Alfred Collection – formed by design duo Marie Mees and Cathérine Biasino.
The fruit of this new collaboration is the label's first collection of carpets, with a minimalist aesthetic, made from Dutch and Portuguese wools.
