RM35m road upgrade deal for Bina Puri

    PETALING JAYA: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has been awarded a contract worth RM35.5 million to undertake pavement works and temporary road diversion in relation to a road upgrading project in Kuala Selangor.
    In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Bina Puri said its subsidiary Sungai Long Industries Sdn Bhd accepted the letter of award from Aktif Unggul Sdn Bhd on Aug 1, 2017 to undertake the works.
    The road upgrading project is from Sungai Buloh to Assam Jawa in Kuala Selangor. The works under the contract are expected to be completed within 31 months from the commencement date of Dec 16, 2017.
    The latest contract award brings the group’s unbuilt book order to RM1.5 billion and is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings of the group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2018.
