Forged invoices: Director, technical assistant released

PUTRAJAYA: A director of a contracting company and a former technical assistant with Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd who were remanded for 10 days to assist investigations into three forged invoices amounting to AS$5.56 million (RM23.65 million) were released today.
Magistrate Nik Isfahanie Tasnim Wan Ab. Rahman released the director, a woman aged 53, and the man aged 28 on Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission bail of RM50,000 each.
They were first remanded on Sept 6 till Sept 11 and the orders were extended for another four days till today.
The case involved a project in Bintulu, Sarawak between April and June 2015. — Bernama
