Investigating team from Bukit Aman inspects razed tahfiz centre

KUALA LUMPUR: A team of six investigating officers from Bukit Aman were seen entering the Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah Tahfiz Centre in Jalan Keramat Ujung here approximately at 1.30pm today.
They seemed to be inspecting the scene of the fire and taking pictures of the razed building from various angles and its surrounding area.
They were there for about 20 minutes.
The tragedy that claimed 23 lives in the fire at 5.15am on Thursday received wide coverage in the media as well as became a priority of the authorities following allegations of foul play.
To date, the cause of the fire is still a question mark after the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department's investigation confirmed the fire was not caused by a short circuit. — Bernama
