PETALING JAYA: Get ready for a "sweet" start to Malaysia Day on Saturday.
Baskin-Robbins, the world's largest ice cream chain, is treating all Malaysians to a scoop of their favourite icy flavour on Sept 16.
"Here at Baskin-Robbins, we believe that there are many occasions to celebrate. Not only will Malaysians get to celebrate the unity and diversity of our great nation with our 31 ice cream flavours on this very special day, but also the many great milestones our Malaysian athletes achieved recently," said Datuk S. Y. Cheah, president of Baskin-Robbins Malaysia.
The "Free Scoop Night" is on from 8pm to 10pm, where each Malaysian will receive a free junior scoop ice cream.
All Malaysians are encouraged to come in patriotic outfits like our national sports jerseys, or outfits that best represent Malaysia.
This will be the second time Baskin-Robbins is organising such an event and it is set to spread the happiness to more Malaysians.
The inaugural "Free Scoop Night" was held in celebration of Malaysian athletes' commendable performance at the 2012 London Olympics.
