Charred remains of senior citizen found at rubbish dump

KULAI: The charred remains of a senior citizen was found at a rubbish dump in Taman Putri here.
State Criminal Investigation Department chief, SAC Azman Ayob said Koh Lian Chu's body was found at around 8.05am on Friday after a report was received from a member of the public.
He said a team of policemen including forensics and the K9 unit were sent to the scene to investigate.
He said the body of the 63-year-old was found by a man looking for fishing bait at the dumpsite.
