Klang Municipal Council offers discounted parking compound till Oct 15

PETALING JAYA: The Klang Municpal Council (MPK) is currently having a discounted parking compound campaign in conjunction with the recent Malaysia Day celebration.
According to MPK corporate communications director Norfiza Mahfiz, the campaign was meant to encourage the public to settle some of their outstanding parking compounds.
"The campaign is also meant to assist those who do not have the opportunity to settle some of the previous compounds to do it within the campaign period.
"We hope the public would really grab hold of this golden opportunity to settle their outstanding summonses before the deadline," Norfiza said in a statement.
The discounted parking compound campaign runs from Sept 16 until Oct 15 and during the campaign period, traffic offenders who are compounded for parking and traffic obstruction just need to pay RM15 to settle their summonses while those with overloading compounds just need to pay RM200.
"The public who wish to find out if they have any outstanding compounds can do so at the council lobby area or the council's Jalan Tengku Kelana branch office.
"Payment can be done at any of the council's counters at the headquarters or its Jalan Tengku Kelana branch office or Kompleks Pasar Besar Jalan Meru or the Port Klang Bus Hub or Pekan Kapar.
"Alternatively, the public can also make payment at MPK's Giant Bukit Tinggi counter, MPK's Mobile Counter vehicle and selected supermarkets which provide the online payment system," she said.
