Man fined RM1k for offering sex to cop

KUALA LUMPUR: A man who was dressed like a woman was fined RM1,000, in default three months' jail, by the Magistrate's Court here today for offering sex service to a policeman, two days ago.
Magistrate Ahmad Solihin Abd Wahid meted out the fine on Aliman Kutting, 31, who had shoulder length hair and was clad in a pink dress, after he pleaded guilty to the charge. He paid the fine.
He was charged with offering the sex service for the purpose of prostitution to Lance Corporal Muhammad Hazriman Ismail, at a pavement infront of Maybank, in Jalan Bukit Bintang, here, at 11.40pm on Sept 18.
He was charged under Section 372 (B) of the Penal Code which carries a jail term of up to one year, or a fine, or both, upon conviction.
Prosecuting officer ASP Nom Phot Prackdit prosecuted, while Aliman was unrepresented. — Bernama
